Overview
Users must complete account registration and maintain valid credentials to access QuikData.
This article explains:
- How a User completes initial registration
- Password requirements
- How to reset a forgotten password
- How to change a password after signing in
Getting There
Account-related actions may occur in one of the following locations:
- From the invitation email (initial registration)
- From the login page (forgot password)
- From within the platform (change password)
Complete Initial Registration
When a User is invited to access a Room, an invitation email is sent to the User's email address.
To complete registration:
- Open the invitation email
- Click Open Room
- Complete the registration form
Registration Form Fields
The User must complete all required fields on the registration form:

| Email Address | Automatically populated from the invitation email. Cannot be modified. |
| First Name | Required. |
| Last Name | Required. |
| Password | Must meet password requirements. See Password Requirements below. |
| Confirm Password | Must match the Password field. |
Password Requirements
The User's password must:
- Contain 6 or more characters

Include at least one of the following:
- A symbol (such as ! # $ % & ~)
- A number
- A lowercase letter
- An UPPERCASE letter
If the password does not meet these requirements, the system will prompt the User to revise it before submission.
After successful registration, the User account becomes active and can be used to sign in.
Reset a Forgotten Password
If a User forgets a password:
- Navigate to the QuikData login page
- Select Forgot Password
- Enter the registered email address
- Follow the password reset instructions sent via email
The User must create a new password that meets the stated password requirements.
- Enter and confirm the new password
- Click Reset Password to complete the process and sign in
If the reset email is not received, the User should verify the correct email address was entered or contact Support.
Change Password (While Signed In)
A User may change a password at any time after signing in.
To change a password:
- Click the User profile
- Select Change Password
- Enter the current password
- Enter and confirm the new password
- Submit the update
The new password must meet the password requirements listed above.

Notes
- The registration link is tied to the invited email address.
- The Email field cannot be modified during registration.
- Password requirements apply to registration, reset, and password change.
- For security reasons, password reset links may expire.
- If access issues persist, contact Support.
