Overview
Besides creating a new template from scratch, you can also create a template based on an existing room. Only users that can create rooms are able to save a room as a template.
Getting There
On a room, just select the option "Save Room as Template" under Manage Room menu.
When accessed through a template, the option is called "Copy Template" instead.
The following wizard will be displayed:
As when a room is created, Name and Matter ID are mandatory. By default, these fields are populated with the room's information, but can be modified.
The rest of the options can also be redefined or customized before saving.

Some considerations
- Require NDA: even when this value is checked, NDA cannot be edited
- Turn off Room Alerts and Emails: this setting is Not shown when saving the room as template but its value is carried over to the new template created
- Room Settings to copy to the new template: the ones checked will be copied, the rest ignored
- Tags and Codes (code hot keys are also copied)

- Users
- Folder Structure and Documents
- Lists and List Items (attachments are included)

To complete the creation just click on "Save As Template" button.
