Overview
If you have two monitors, it is possible to pop the Viewer out to a new browser tab and drag and drop that tab to another screen.
To pop out the Viewer, click the icon highlighted below.
Once popped out, the Viewer will hide in the main Room window.
You can navigate from document-to-document using the Next (>) and Previous (<) arrows on the pop out Viewer or by selecting another folder or row in the Document List.
You can see the currently document's file name on the header, under the viewer's dropdown selector.
When the room is in E-Discovery mode, Production Viewer is shown next to the Viewer dropdown.
If the document was produced at least once, this dropdown will be displayed enabled, showing bates numbers of all the productions the document is in. The user can change the bates numbers and see the produced version of the document on each production.
When the document is slipsheeted, the content of the slipsheet instead of the native is displayed on the viewer.
When the document has translations, Language dropdown will be displayed allowing the user to select the different translations for that document.
Clicking on "Redaction Mode" will refresh the page and will allow the user to add Redaction Marks to the document. For more information , check Redaction article.
Coding and Custom Fields Panel
Also, you can assign codes/tags and Custom fields to the document from the popped out viewer. You will find the Coding and Custom field panel on the right, one tab shows Coding panel and the other one shows Custom Fields.
Email Thread Panel
On the left side, Email thread panel is displayed, showing the thread the selected document belongs to (if ETA was run on a room and document belongs to a thread).
You can navigate to Emails/Attachments on the thread by clicking on them.
If you want the Viewer to return to the main screen, simply close the pop out Viewer browser tab and it will open back up within the main Room window. For additional information, refer to Document Viewer article.
