Overview
Company feature allows Users to be associated to an organization or company. It is not mandatory to associate users with companies. If done, a User may only be associated to one Company, unless the Site is using the Multi-Tenant Mode option.
The following guide will show you how to create and manage Companies. The application does allow Site Administrators to configure the site in order to allow Companies to be associated with and available only from within specific Environments. This is called "Multi-Tenant Mode". Further information can be found at Multi-Tenant Mode article and in the section below titled "Multi-Tenant Mode Companies".
Creating New Companies
Using Manage Companies page (available only to Site Admins)
- Click the Site Admin dropdown menu from the header menu bar and click Companies to access the Manage Companies page.
- From the Manage Companies page, click the New Company button
- The New Company popup dialogue will appear. Enter the Company name (required) and click OK.
- The new Company will appear in the list of Companies and may be associated to new or existing Users.
Note: when in Multi-Tenant Mode, Companies created this way are considered "Site Companies" and are visible and available to all users that can invite and/or manage users in all Environments.
Using the Invite User's wizard
Companies can also be added through the Invite New Users feature at the Site, Environment and Room level. The following procedure will show creating a new Company through the Room invitation feature, but functions similarly at the Site and Environment levels.
- Open the Manage Room Users page from either the My Rooms > Users right-click menu or through the Manage Room dropdown menu from the Room itself.
- From the Manage Room Users page, select the User Actions dropdown menu and click the "Invite New Users" menu item. From the Add New Users Wizard, click the New Company icon.

Multi-Tenant Mode Companies
Multi-Tenant Mode is a configuration option for a Site that allows Companies to be created and available in only the Environment that the Company was created in. The Company will not be available at the Site level, nor will it be available in other Environments. In this mode, Users may be associated to different Companies within different Environments. Please refer to the Multi-Tenant Mode article for additional information about this feature.
Site Companies
When in Multi-Tenant mode it is still possible for Site Administrators to create, edit and delete Site Companies using the methods described above. Site Companies are visible and can be used from within all Environments in the Site.
